We’ve already seen the first blue shade in this limited edition release of two polishes. This release is called Blue Notes De Chanel, the collection contains two new polishes, a bright blue creme called Vibrato (check that here) and a dark blue metallic polish called Fortissimo. In the UK the collection is referred to as Blue Notes De Chanel, but elsewhere it is Blue Rhythm De Chanel.
This is the dark blue metallic shade, its certainly a lot darker than Vibrato. This is two coats over a base of Nailtiques 2 and topped with Nails Inc Kensington Top Coat. The first coat is quite patchy, no other word for it. The second coat really brings the bling. Seriously bling. The depth of colour is lovely. And my pictures just don’t capture it.
Again, you may feel you have a dupe. Its similar to one of the new Barry M Speedy Polishes (I can’t recall the name) and I am sure there are a number of dupes out there. All those dark gem colours that are knocking about. Do let me know if you have any dupes that leap to mind, do let me know!

Bourjois has a similar one that applies like a dream but stains when removed.
Does this one stain the nails?

No staining of any kind! Hurrah!

Do you mean it’s close to Barry M Drive Me Navy, one of the new Sunset polishes? If so, I love the colour (not the formula) of that, so will be keen to get this.

Yes, from what I could tell wearing Fortissimo and looking at the bottle instore, its very similar. But we do love our Chanels, don’t we?!
