Well hello there. Just about getting online to do small amounts of blogging but the hubby’s ipad just isn’t up to the job I’m afraid! Anyway, excitingly Christmas sets for the nail lover in your life have started popping up in many a drugstore and department store.
Below is a small selection of what can been picked up right now. I’ll do more posts as I find more items t do remember you can share you own pictures with me, via email or twitter and I’ll share on the blog with full credit.
First up are the Nails Inc sets that are cropping up in your local Boots. Lots of variants here, sets of three through to larger sets and individual polishes with crystal caps. I tools pictures of what I could but if something catches your eye, best to pop in or check out Boots.com.
You can see these sets all house the new Nails Inc bottles. I’ve not used them myself so I cannot comment on the brush or ease of use.
The packaging is actually quite cute and it feels sturdy in your hands.
In my largest Boots there was a whole display of these. Unfortunately my pictures don’t have the prices on. But I’ll look them up and update the post when I get a chance.
Let me know what you think in the comments! Would you like to find one of these in your Christmas stocking?
I am off seeking sunshine, warmth and polish in the Canary Islands for the next week. Hope you all have a lovely week!
No updates for a bit as I’m away with the family. Have a great week or so and I will catch up with you towards Halloween
Keep me posted with your new sightings of products and new purchases, can’t wait to her what you have been up to.
I’m off on my holidaybobs, cross your fingers for some good weather (or at least some dry weather!)

See you in a week!
As the last days of my holiday are trickling by, I decided to go all girly pink with my free Ciate nail polish that came with my Marie Claire magazine. Caite Nail polishes are, in my experience, great quality. They usually retail for £9 so £3.70 for a magazine that you might already buy monthly is great.
Like the other Ciate Polishes I have tried, Jelly Bean has a great formula. In the bottle you can see a hint of a purple shimmer, which sadly, doesn’t translate at all onto the nail. That is a real shame because it elevates it from a hot pink creme to something with tonnes of interest. Putting that aside the formula is great. First coat might look at bit odd, but keep going and you get good even coverage with three coats. That is what you can see in the images below. Three coats is that I used and is that I would recommend with this polish. There is a *hint* of VNL but its a great colour and worth just buying the magazine for.
I don’t have any of the other free Marie Claire polishes, do you? Any pictures to share?
Bourjois is pulling out the SUmmer 2012 stops let me tell you. A whole raft of new 1 Seconde Nail polishes, see below, including one that is very purple and very sparkly called Rainbow Apparition. From what I have googled, it looks like a good polish for a top coat.
I also so this (below), Bourjois 1 Seconde Gloss in Grendine Tonic. A very sheer red tinted top coat. I put it over my coral nails and it became a bit pinker. Anyway, I couldn’t get a picture, so this one is from nonstopmama.com
And a new display of NYC Polishes, I think these are nearly all the core line apart from the lilac and mint green ones which were part of a previous Spring display.
I have yet to see the new Barry M Chameleon Polishes which you can see on Polly Polish and I understand that there is also a Retro 80s line of polishes too. Images is from their Facebook page. The peach one is a Boots only exclusive. The Facebook page is great for fast updates as their name website isn’t updated very often at all.
So, anything catch your eye??
OK, OK, yes I am on holiday. Perils of holidaying in your own country, you still see stuff when you are out and about. So here we have more nail polishes from TopShop. Some of these are not new, but I was able to get good pics for one. I think, however, that those on the last image with the Silver Caps might be newer than the others. They also are £6.50 whilst the others are £6.
Do you have any TopShop polishes? I don’t but I have sent some to my Polish Twin
Its that time of the year again, I’m off for a week. Behave yourselves!
Well I’m now back in the UK. Its not as hot here, obviously, I am wearing socks for the first time in a week and lamenting the fact that I’ve put my sandals back into their place in the shoe cupboard.
I did have a wonderful time and I was lucky enough to find a few little places that stocked nail polish. I did go a *little* crazy, but I have images of the polishes below for you and I will be posting about them in due course.
Most Polish Heads know that in mainland Europe you can access Essence and Catrice Cosmetics. I was overjoyed to find a place about 5 mins from our vacation villa that stocked them. Here are some pics of the displays that I was able to take discreetly. I’ve also included some bottle shots, first image is without flash and the second image is with flash.
I’m away for a week. See you when I get back
