A few new stands have been creeping out into the stores – first up, new stands with suggested Halloween make up in them. First up, this joint stand between Rimmel London and Miss Sporty.
And then this stand for Barry M, Revolution and other brands. Those look to me like the new winter Barry M Gelly shades.

I was in my local Poundland, just doing a sweep to see what was popping up on the shelves, and I saw these little beauties!
Look! The three above are from the Stripped Nudes collection, the Brocades collection and the Street Artist collection. I also saw some polishes from both the Neon Collection, the Vintage Leather collection and the Bleached Neon collections. Not a full set either way and from what I can tell, these are European Editions, not US ones (where these collections in particular where larger, so more in the bleached neon collection), so none of those more elusive shades to be seen!

Not much in the way of new sightings – which probably means its just a matter of time before we get inundated with new Autumn/Winter shades.
I don’t recall ever seeing a freestand Essie pop up. but here one is in my local Boots. With the new A/W Collection in.

A quick update for you – Maybelline stands are being updated up and down the country! Yay!
Looks like two new lines Suit Style – looks like four shades possibly five and then something called Celebrate!
Lots of pictures below there is a stand alone stand and the main line insert, so don’t forget to check both. Plus, one of the suit style polishes has a little white label reading “textured”

I was passing my local Boots when I noticed that the Seventeen stands had been updated. It has been a while so I’d been keeping an eye on them. Here you can see the whole top section of the display, nearly the complete top line is new nail polishes or top coats.
Here you can see the close up, first up on the left are the new Foil Fusion polishes, followed by in the middle Pastel Confetti Nail toppers and then two Mosaic Top Coats.

I was passing my local Boots and popped into to see if I could spot the new Maybelline SOS Balm. And lo and behold, I did. Its just like a small lipstick, the balm is a blue colour but presumably goes on clear.
The insert in the large stand was also updated, so I snapped a couple of pics for you. Not 100% sure if any of these are new…
And here is a close up of the polishes, I think these are part of the core line.
There we go, I also spotted that Maybeline have brought out their own nail polish remover but I didn’t manage to get a picture of that. Anything catch your eye? Let me know in the comments.

A quick update for you this morning, our local Essence stand has a new Trend Edition available. This is Hidden Stories. It mainly pastel in the range, both in the eye products and nail products. The nail products come in a variety of finishes. There is a matte one, a frosted one, a sparkling one, a metallic one and an iced one. Not sure what the last one is, but you can see them all here.
Also on my travels in Leeds, I saw the new KIKO Perfect Gel Duos. A good range of core colours. You get the nail colour and the gel top coat. According to the website they are limited edition, so if they catch your eye, best to grab them sooner rather than later!
RRP is £7.90 and all shades appear available on the website.
I know not both of these ranges are easily available to everyone, but KIKO can be ordered on the website and Essence can be found in more and more Wilcos stores. Not sure on the availability of the Trend Editions, but if you see them in your local Wilcos, do let me know in the comments.

It would seem that our two mystery Maybelline Color Show polishes are part of a wider, limited edition range to celebrate 100 years of Maybelline. Its a Superdrug Exclusive so get down there STAT if something catches your eye.
The stand has been infilled with non-limited edition items, just in case you were wondering. Here come the close ups!
There we go, exciting huh? This not the same as the US release of the 100 Years of Maybelline. You can see all the gossip on that range over on Nouveau Cheap here.
