A quick public service announcement, the new Barry M Speedy Nail Polishes has been popping up in Superdrug stores this last week – plus with a buy one get half off deal, if you fancy some of the more autumn shades, I suggest you get there asap!

A couple of quick spots for you. First up, the Barry M stands have been updated. The one new Gelly Shade, Sugar Plum, is now available.
The new Speedy shades, both cremes and shimmers, are also now part of the updated stands.
Also out in stores now is the new Bourjois Gel Top Coat. Sorry the picture is awful, I know, but hopefully you get the idea.
Finally, in Boots, if you spend £15 on Max Factor you can pick up this Gift With Purchase. There is a nail polish in the box too.

I’ve been sent some lovely Born Pretty Plates to play with and I have a couple of looks I am going to share with you this week. First up is this look using BP-L020 a plate filled with lovely lacy designs. I was quite taken with this plate and I wasn’t sure where to start. But in the end I plumped for the lace pattern at the bottom left of the image.
I used a base of Barry M Gelly Lychee to provide a nude base so that it wouldn’t detract too much from the stamping. I then stamped over the top, using WnW Black Creme that I keep in my stamping stash, before sealing it all in with my Nails Inc Kensington Top Coat. I did managed to smear my thumb nail and so just dropped in a little bit more stamping because I was running out of time to get this finished.
I love how classy and clean this looks, I think anyone would be able to carry off this design and colour way. It provides interest without being too in your face. The quality of the stamp plate is great, the designs are smaller than those you would find on a MoYou XL plate, but bigger than those on the regular plate. They are a good size for my nails. I also used my Creative Stamper which I find works really well with the BP plates and delivers a crisp image onto the nail.

The new Barry M Sunset Shades have hit my local Superdrug – whilst there is a three for two deal going on instore! As you can see, pricepoint is £4.99 each for the shades and you need one top coat and one polish. I’ve not bought any, but I know the official Barry M bloggers have been getting theirs for review.

If you haven’t been hanging around on social media, you may have missed the new polishes from Barry M. These are the Speedy Quick Dry range. Also released is a plumpy top coat. I saw this twice in two different stores, one had been hammered and the other one looked brand new out on the shop floor. Move quickly as I think these are going to fly off the shelves and some of the blogger swatches are gorgeous!
I also took the opportunity to swing by the Essence pop up to see what Trend Editions were on sale. First up, Like An Unforgettable Kiss range.
And the Mountain Calling winter range.

I happened upon the new Barry M glitter toppers released in Boots. There are two, both of them have red bottle tops. This is the first one I have tried and is called Moonlight. The other one is called Starlight.
Moonlight is a glitter topper, with silver stars, silver glitter of varying sizes and small red moon shapes in the clear base coat. Here you can see one coat over a base of Wet N Wild Haze of Love. It is packed with glitter and so the dab, splodge and move about the nail for even glitter placement is the best way forward here.
The stars didn’t come out with every dip in the bottle, but you certainly get a good range of red moons in every brushstroke.
These are limited edition and are only available from Boots. If you like it, best get it quick as last year the editions did sell out quickly.

A few of the stands in your local drugstores may be updated in the near future if they haven’t already. First up, Rimmel has a new end cap in Superdrug – in particular highlighting the new Pop Art topper and those Glitter Bomb shades.
Then new shades in the Miss Sporty stand….
Inlcuding another high street glitter peel off base coat, just like the new one from NYC New York Color.
And some new hologram shades.. not sure these are 100% new but they are in the new updated stand.
Finally, Barry M for the festive season, including slots for the limited edition toppers, only one seen here.
That is all this time, what have you seen out and about?
I’m a bit late to the party here, as I saw these a week ago and I know lots of blogs have already featured them. But if you haven’t already seen, the new Autumn 2014 Barry M colours are out. And there are quite a few alongside the recent Autumn Gelly shades that came out in September.
First up Glitterati Nail Paint – these are super sparkly nail shades in six colours as seen below…. the bottle tops are deliberately distressed.
Also in this Boots were the two new Xmas shades, Starlight and Moonlight. These have the red bottle tops. They have tiny stars in them, one mainly silver and one with bits of red in.
Bit of a closer shot here and the matte top coat makes up the full row.
Then there are the new Aquarium shades as well….
And some additions to the glitter line….
So quite a lot of new Barry M shades out there for your nail pleasure. These images are from Boots and I know that Superdrug will also have their own limited edition Christmas paints and there is one limited edition one for Tesco from what I understand. Plenty to get stuck into! They are up on the Barry M website but I couldn’t see the red toppped bottles so you will have to swing by your local Boots, Superdrug or Tesco.

Also in Superdrug, Makeup Revolution is now available instore. So great ranges and some awesome looking eye palettes. They also have a range of £1 nail polish.
