Blue Notes de Chanel – Vibrato, collection 2015

I’m not sure how I missed this, but Chanel brought out a new capture make up collection whilst I was away.  Called Blue Notes De Chanel, the collection contains two new polishes, a bright blue creme called Vibrato and a dark blue metallic polish called Fortissimo.  In the UK the collection is referred to as Blue Notes De Chanel, but elsewhere it is Blue Rhythm De Chanel.  And promo pictures of the whole collection are a bit scarce, however there are eyeshadows, liners. mascaras and eyeshadow quads.

I fell hard for the blues, they looks stunning online and so I bought them sight unseen.  Have I been disappointed?  Lets take a look….

Wow, this is some blue!  Its super bright.  Not too bright as that is tempered as the shade is darker than I first thought.  Its application is perfect however, this is two thin coats over a base of Nailtiques 2 topped with Nails Inc Kensington Top Coat.  Formula is good, really good.  The Chanel cremes are legendary for good application.

The black square cap pops off so you use the inner cap to apply the polish and the brush is thin and flexible.

I know lots of you will be going ‘I’m sure I have that one already’, the closest dupe I found has been Barry M Blue Grape from the Gelly range and Lancome Nuit D’Azur (limited edition).  I’ve seen both shades in the UK shops this weekend, so if you fancy it, better move fast as the whole range (from what I can tell) is limited edition.

What do you think?  Let me know in the comments.
