Hocchhh Kssshhhhh from the Star Wars Collection is probably my second favourite Nerdlacquer, its gorgeous and amazeballs. I love its description on the website. This polish ‘is sheer black with black hex, black square, black bar, and black micro glitter, finished off with big charcoal holo hex. The micro holo shimmer scattered throughout is The Force. Do not underestimate it. This polish might enable you to asphyxiate your enemies from across the room, but no guarantees.’
This is one SERIOUS polish, check out the pics.
I used my Essence Studio Nails Better Than Gel Nails Base Coat, a good thick coat of that over a thin coat of Nailtiques Formula 2. Then two coats of Hocchhh Kssshhhh over one coat of Wet N Wild Creme Black. The formula appears slightly gloopy, but it was then that I realised that there was black bar glitter in it, this makes it a bit clumpy on the brush – but thankfully not on the nail! Glitter dispersal was great even though there was a fair bit of glitter stuck to the outside of the bottle taunting me. Then I finished with a thick coat of Essence Studio Nails Better Than Gel Nails Top Sealer High Gloss which dried to an amazing glassy finish.
My word, what a complex polish. Small holo glitter catches the light to make it shine and pop like very few other polishes. As I have mentioned before I am exceptionally fond of these Essence Studio Nails products, seriously impressed with them. I know Glitter polishes can wear like iron but after three days of hard core nail wearing I didn’t even have so much as minimal tip wear. Nothing. Nada. I really didn’t want to take this one off…. but I did and I was sad 😦
