Spotted – New L’Oreal Nail Polishes, GOSH, MUA and Essence in Wilkos

Despite it being the height of summer here in the UK sales market, I have noticed one or two new things popping onto shelves near you.  First up, I was drawn to the fact the L’Oreal have updated their nail sections in many Boots and Superdrug stores.  Some simple nail art inspiration here.

Then I noticed something I have seen no press for at all – new double ended L’Oreal Nail Polish.  There is a polish (step 1) followed by a tinted top coat (step 2).  Curious……. RRP is £7.99 so there are not cheap but I can’t find any further information on the internet either. UPDATE – British Beauty Blogger has more info HERE

After seeing a badly filled Shades of Grey stand, I finally see a filled one.  Lots of repromotes here and those new Stardust polishes.

MUA has released from new nail polish products – a super strong basecoat, a peel off base coat (interesting that it is clear and doesn’t look like PVA glue in a bottle) and the now ubiquitous matte top coat.

And for those of you that haven’t had enough of me banging on about Essence hitting the UK, this is the small updated stand in my local Wilkos (which is only a tiny branch so it only has the 1m line up)  Although small, there is quite a lot packed into this and the price points are excellent.

Spotted! MUA Luxe Glitter Toppers, L’Oreal Colour Riche, Chanel & GOSH

Ahhhh new things for you today on what is a lovely sunny afternoon in Manchester.  Hope its sunny where you are 🙂

First up, some mew editions to the MUA Luxe line in the form of some rather tasty looking glitter toppers. Not sure how much £X is mind….

These are the first two on the left, a purple, black and white glitter, and a blue, purple and white with bar glitter.

This is the middle pair – a orange and turquoise diamond glitter with black and white bar glitter, the second one is a purple, pink and blue diamond glitter with black and white bar glitter.

And then the two on the right, green, gold and yellow diamond glitters with black and white bar glitter and a pink micro glitter one.

Then the new summer shade from L’Oreal, a lovely juicy tangerine shade

Finally the new GOSH competition winner shades for you.  One polish and one lippie.

So there we go, quite a few new things to check out.  I’m kinda digging those MUA Luxe Glitter toppers.  I;ve not seen that much diamond glitter in the UK market in one line!

New Things I Have Spotted #76 – OPI, M&S Autograph, Next & MUA

I’ve had the day off, so I took the opportunity to have a pootle through the shops and see what was going on polish-wise.  Quite a few new things on shelves… lets take a look!

First up, I spotted the Gwen Stefani and Brazil OPI collections in my local John Lewis.  They also had all the Gwen polishes, including the minis, the special edition boxed red and the silver foil, and they also had both mini sets of the Brazil polishes – one creme, one liquid sands.

I know we looked at M&S last time, but they are at it again with new releases.  This time as part of their autograph collection – three shimmers (although one does look potentially holo-ish!) at £5 each.

Its been a long time since I’ve been in a Next, but I did see this range of £3 nail polish.  Some interesting finishes and colour ways.

And then finally, in Superdrug, the MUA Foil Luxe Nail Polishes are out.  These are just like the colourfoil kits you may have already seen.  You get a base colour, some foils and (possibly) glue and away you go.  These are RRP £5 and come in three different colour/finish ways.

New Things I Have Spotted #72 – Color Show Stripped Nudes, MUA & Cheeky

Quick Spotted! for you today – I’ve been seeing the proper inserts for the Maybelline Color Show Stripped Nudes, so a couple of updated pics for you.  As you can see, clearly limited edition.

Here you can see a second insert and you can clearly see the names of the four polishes.

By the MUA stand in Superdrug, MUA Luxe Metallic Foils for Nails.  Cannot wait to see what these actually look like, the Luxe lip line has had a few good reviews.

Finally, another new range available in Superdrug, called Cheeky.  A range of polish and other beauty items.  £7 is a bit steep for a drug store polish, but I’ve not seen any reviews so they could be awesome.

New Things I Have Spotted #38 – Fish Egg Manicure Kits, Nail Polish Strips, Bourjois, Accessorise, MUA, Miss Sporty, W7 and more….

Its been a busy few days this week, so I grabbed the chance to go for a wander after work and see what new polish has hit our local stores.  So buckle up, there has been a few new releases!

First up we have new Bourjois Precious Metals Polishes, very similar in colour to the recent metallic releases from Essie.

New polish effects from 17 in Boots.  These are their Christmas Releases, all limited and both polishes look super lovely.

 

Finally, the cheaper version of a fish egg mani. These are MUA Nail Constellations. I’ve been waiting for these for ages.  And now they are here, great price point at £3 each.

Then, also in Boots at the No7 counter, I noticed the new Deco Darling Collection.  Two glitter top coats and a dark grey creme polish.  Lovely.  The whole range is nice actually, well worth a look.

Next, something I have been noticing more of, more nail polish strips.  This time by Maybelline.

 

And then some more by Miss Sporty.  Also note below the new sparkle touch colour, which is fuchsia pink with red undertones.

 

 

More fish egg manicure kits, this time from Accessorise. Available in three colours.  Good price point as this one includes a polish at £5.

THEN, I know, nearly there bear with me.  I popped into TK Maxx and they have lots and lots and lots of nail polish sets.  Lots of Nails Inc, Leighton Denny, Barielle and Essie.  And now W7.  Look below for a couple that caught my eye.

So there you have it.  Lots of new product available for yourself or the nail polish lover in your life.
