PUBLIC SERVICE ANNOUNCEMENT! More free nail polishes are now available if you purchase either Glamour or Elle November 2015 UK editions. In Glamour there is a choice of Nails Inc Shades and in Elle there is a choice of Orly shades.
I’ve just noticed that one of those Orly ones looks like a duochrome, must of missed that! Will have to go back and look as I only saw gray ones.

I was minding my own business in the magazine aisle in the local super market, when I spotted this on the front of Cosmopolitan magazine. Its in the January 2015 edition for the UK market.
As you can see below, it comes in four shades.
I didn’t pick it up, mainly because I’m not a huge gold fan, nor do I need anymore red shades. But its a good deal. Did you pick this up? if you did, let me know your thoughts in the comments

Well, this was a bit of a surprise – popped into my local Boots, admittedly its a huge one, and there was was this new addition to the make up section. And its mainly polish!
First up, WAH Nails London have branched out into products. £9 for the polish and £7 for the nail art sticks.
New Orly sections with new style bottles. £9.50 each.
Updated Butter London section. £12 each.
Something called London Town Lakur… not heard of these before. £14 each here.
Eve Snow concession, again new to me. Not cheap either! £14.
Have you spotted these new inserts in your local Boots? Are you aware of any of these new brands? Let me know in the comments
So, after being super impressed with my first ever Orly polish, this is my second one. Fowl Play, again from the Birds of a Feather collection. I was super impressed with the polish, it was lovely and had a great texture. Took three coats however to build up some kind of colour. Wear was good, I got 4 days from it, with a good dollop of Sally Hansen Mega Shine on the top.
Great colour, I might have to investigate more flakies…..
Like Essie, I’d never owned or used an Orly polish. I had eyed them up on numerous polish blogs and looked at them online in stores. Then came along the Birds of a Feather collection. I looked whilst we were in NYC but only saw the standard ranges. Then one day I looked on eBay. Bingo! Good price & great shipping rates. I also picked up a bottle of Fowl Play. And boy, are these bottles massive, 0.6 Oz they are and they seem huge. I have seen the Orly Minis in the very large Boots stores, but again thats just the standard range.
In terms of formula, I’ve been quite impressed. Smooth, liquid colour that glides on to provide an even coverage. I used three coats as I wanted to bring out the subtle shimmer. Worth the extra drying time…..
