Elevation Polish – Limestone

Happy Bank Holiday to my UK readers!!! I have a polish I’ve been lusting over for a while to share with you today – perfect for sunny days and crisp manicures.  This is the gorgeous Limestone from Elevation Polish.

As you can see, Limestone is an off white shade with flecks of copper running through it.  Its blinking gorgeous.  What you see here is two coats over a base of Nailtiques 2 and topped off with Nails Inc Kensington Top Coat.  Formula is very good, good consistency and easy to work with.

Gosh, I love this,  the copper detail is just perfect, its really unusual and unlike anything else I have in the stash.

Limestone is still available from Elevation, costing $8.50 and she does provide international shipping so no reason way you can’t treat yourself!

Enchanted Polish – July 2014

Hello!  Happy Monday!  Hope you had a good weekend?  I’m just going to share some older images to clear the backlog of posts.  This is the second Enchanted Polish I own – this is July 2014, one I bought a presale as July is my birthday month and I decided to treat myself.

Enchanted Polishes are known for their holos, and man do they shine like stars.. This is two coats of July 2014 topped with G&G HK Girl (good for not dulling holos).

Anyway, if you want to get our hands on Enchanted Polishes, there is a big BIG resale market if you feel brave.  Otherwise you have to be lucky to score them on the Enchanted website or be around during one of the small presale windows.  The monthly polishes are all bought sight unseen, which means you don’t know what you get until you open that pretty pretty box.

Do you have any Enchanteds in your stash?  Are they worth all the hassle?  Let me know your thoughts in the comments

365 Days of Color – Vagabond

Just a quick beauty to share with you today. This is Vagabond, part of La Boheme Collection by 365 Days of Color.

Love this, its nude, but its not.  Its blue and its not.  Its just lovely, formula was lovely too.  Two coats here over a base of Essie Millionails with a top coat from Seche Vite.

What do you think?  I think its kind of cute for the autumn….

Dollish Polish – Spectral Pup

Continuing our slightly spooky theme, here is a polish I picked up for Halloween last year that I have yet to share with you.  Spectral Pup by Dollish Polish is still available in the store BUT ONLY UNTIL OCT 19, and she does ship internationally, so you can get stuck in!

Anyway, lets have a look at some pictures!

Spectral Pup is a clear based polish, although it does look a teensy bit milky, packed with glitter that is orange and white with smaller pieces of iridescent glitter shot throughout.  Its based on Jack Skellington’s dog, Zero and was part of the Halloween collection 2012 (of which I have a few others….)

And the best it?  Its said to glow in the dark!  Now I don’t recall mine doing that, but I didn’t charge it up under a light bulb beforehand.  So if Dolly says it glows in the dark, its glows.

As you can see, I put mine over a coat of darkest black, which I think looks pretty awesome.  I have seen it over several other colours, including cream and white, so it really depends on what glitter colour you want to accent.  Those little iridescent glitters are really clear over black and man they shine and shine.  And I just love those white squares!!

I wore this over two coats of Wet N Wild Black Creme, which is part of the Wild Shine range, and then a coat of Seche Vite to seal it.  I based with Essie Millionails (now discontinued).

Dollish Polish is available via a number of retailers as well as directly from the Dollish Polish Website.  For those of us in the UK, our best and brightest stockist is Rainbow Connection UK.

Now that’s what I call Halloween!
