I have a treat for you all today, a real treat. Thanks to a wonderful swap with the wonderfully thoughtful Lindz over at Girl in the Glasses I now have my hands on several of the Twilight Breaking Dawn polishes by Essence. What we are going to look at today, is the black sparkly polish, otherwise called Edward’s Love (I know, how cheesy!)
What you see above is two coats, over Nailtiques Formula 2 as a base with a thick coat of Seche Vite. This polish is a black base with a silver glass fleck/glitter in it. Its not particularly unique, but boy is it pretty, good dupes would probably be Nars Night Rider or the new Illamasqua polish Creator – but lets be honest this is much cheaper than both of them. Formula on this one was on the gloopy side, so care needed on application to prevent it dripping off the brush or flooding the cuticle. However, that said, it dried well and evenly. And it wore pretty well too. Even without top coat, its pretty shiny, but the top coat really helps bring out the silver POP
Sadly, for us UK girls, Essence is not available here. Essence can be found at certain stores in North America and all over the place in Europe. You can visit the website here for more info on specific availability and sale locations.
As much as I dislike the twilight flims, that polish is so pretty! ❤
Yes it’s very nice. Looks great when he light catches it. 🙂
