Black, Glittery, Holo bits, black, oh and glitter, did I mention glitter. I got my bottle of Glitz Gal from my wonderful North American Polish Buddy, Adina, who oversees the great blog Blue Collar, Red Lipstick in a recent swap to end all swaps.
Glitz Gal is one of eight shades available in North America. In the UK, the Sally Hansen range is mainly nail care products, a handful of the Real Nail Polish Strips and the Complete Salon Manicure range. This is a CRYING shame as SH do some spectacular polishes.
And Glitz Gal is certainly one of them. It is PACKED with glittery goodness and joy. Its black and silver and shiny and blue and pink all at once. When I put the first coat on, my heart sank as I was worried it was going to show a hideous amount of nail line. Imagine my relief when coat 2 kicked that into touch. I actually ran to three coats. Trying time was super quick, get the polish out of the bottle and onto your nails pronto. Also, don’t over work it or it drags and comes off. The sparkle was immensely helped by a coat of Seche Vite, which also helped to level out the polish so it felt less bumpy.
The removal of glitters is well known as a pain, this was no exception. I am deeply smitten and I cannot wait to get this on my digits again asap!
Which ones do you have/want to try?
Love it!! Looks gorgeous on you! Just wait, I have a few more dazzlers up my sleeve for you 😉
