Colors by Llarowe – Black Gold Texas Tea

Another fabulous Colors By Llarowe to share with you today.  This on is Black Gold Texas Tea – a fabulous linear black holo polish.  Lets hit the pictures!

Wow, I just love this.  Its a super linear holo, really holographic effect.  I could have even gotten away with one coat it was almost an amazing one coat wonder.  Not quite – because I chose to use two coats to ensure good even coverage.  I did a base of G&G Stuck on Blu! and then topped with a coat of G&G HK Girl.  HK Girl is great over holos, there is no dulling of the effect or colour and so its just perfect for making your holo polishes last longer.

Colors by Llarowe are available directly from Llarowe and prices vary depending on finish.  Updates are available via the Facebook page or sign up to the newsletter for restock updates.

Elevation Polish – Sarychev

Hello everyone, good weekend? Seems they go by so quickly these days, but they certainly are fun!  I have a series of polishes today and over this coming week to share with you.  I have a few that often get used because I am a sucker for Lulu’s creations containing lovely circle glitter.

This one was sent to me from my lovely Polish Picking Princess, knowing that I am a sucker for a gorgeous orange.  Let me introduce you to Sarychev.

This is the most brilliant orange, a good bright neon leaning orange.  Love it.  What you see above it three thin coats over a base of G&G Stuck on Blu! and then topped with G&G HK Girl to seal it all in and make it shine!  Formula is great, self levelling and good drying time.  I’m going to love this hard – I can tell!

There are several places you can find out more about Elevation polish, first up the blog here and then the actual store (with international shipping).  Polishes do very in price depending on the finish, but usually they are around $8.50, glitter toppers are sometimes more.  Elevation restocks on set dates, more info on the blog and its clear which colours are going to be available or retired.  The website also lists some of the other stockists that sell Elevation.

Do you have any Elevation polishes?  Let me know your faves in the comments!

HARE – Bisbee

OK, here is another recently found set of images.

This is HARE Bisbee – the Old version, from the wonderful HARE Polish.  There is now a Bisbee 2.0.

A sea green base packed with gold glitter.  I loved this, no idea what I based with but its looking like a Seche Vite top coat.

Anyway, who doesn’t love a HARE polish?  You can get them direct from the etsy shop or via Llarowe. Don’t forget to check out the Facebook page either for offers and sneak peeks of new collections.

NerdLacquer – Argentum

Whoop!  More Nerdlacquer today.  This is one I scooped up when I picked up the last couple I showed you.  I umm’d and ahh’d about putting it on and now I wish I had put it on sooner.

W.O.W.  This is one holy smokes polish.  It is amazing.  When the light hits it, it is just spectacular.  Spectacular!  It is just jammed full of glitter, lots and lots of silver glitter.  I used three coats here, opacity built up well and the formula was surprisingly easy to work with.  The trickiest coat was probably the first one, but that one then makes the others go on smoothly.  I used my Essence Better Than Gel Nails Base Coat followed by a top coated with Essence Better Than Gel Nails Top Sealer High Gloss.  Which makes this baby shine like no-ones business.

Information about Nerdlacquer can be found on the website including info on any restocks. Nerdlacquer is also on Google+ so check that out for forthcoming restocks too. There was mention of April 15th, but do check Google+ for the most up to date information. Retail is $10 and shipping is also available for us international polish lovers via Nerdlacquer or if you are fortunate to snag any of the Harlow&Co NL editions.

Rainbow Honey – Hoof Wrassle

A glitter bomb of a polish for you today.  This was sent to me by my Polish Picking Princess in a little bundle she sent my way and I forgot to upload the images.

Anyway, here we go!

This is seriously glittery.  I love orange polish as you may well know.  This is from the US Indie brand Rainbow Honey and is part of the Equestria Collection.  Its a deeper orange, like marmalade in colour.  Its packed with glitter in copper, gold and orange in square and hexagonal shapes.  There is also a tiny smattering of iridescent and holographic pieces which really catch the light.  Formula was good, what you see above is three coats, making the polish completely opaque.

It might look a little bit bumpy in the images but I can assure you its not.  I used my Essence Peel Off Base Coat (which didn’t work s expected – huge disappointment let me tell you) and a thick coat of Seche Vite on top for the shine.

The RH webshop only ships to the US and Canada, international polish lovers need to select a retailer that will ship to where they live, but handily there is a webpage to help with that.

I love the RH concept, I adore the bottles and I’m quite taken with some of the newer collections.  What do you think?  Do you have any Rainbow Honey in your stash?
